We recommend that you NOT drink water from a source on the trail unless it has been treated or comes from a trusted source such as a municipal water system. CVATC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization responsible for 17 miles of the Appalachian Trail in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania on lands of the National Park Service, Pennsylvania Game Commission, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, and connecting areas between Center Point Knob on South Mountain and the Perry County line atop Blue Mountain.
