Join us for an evening of food, fun and of course, hiking! Learn about the power foods that can fuel your hike and keep your body functioning at peak capacity. Michele Landis will be our guide for the evening. She is a holistic health coach with training from the institute for Integrative Nutrition and the owner of Yoga at Simply Well, as well as being an avid hiker and Appalachian Trail 2,000 miler.
Take a walk up to Center Point Knob, the original halfway point of the Appalachian Trail and then down to the spring at the Alec Kennedy Shelter. Total distance for this moderate hike is about six miles.
Space is limited so register now to save yourself a place. This event is free and open to the public. Be sure to bring plenty of water and wear comfortable hiking shoes.
