501(c)(3) Non-profit Status

CVATC was chartered as a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation in 1994.  In order for contributions to a  non-profit to be eligible for a tax deduction, the charity must be approved under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  CVATC applied for this status in early 2008 and was granted 501(c)(3) status on June 26 of that year.
