A New Club Name

CVATMA ---> CVATC

When our Club was founded in the early 1990s, we were focused on converting the trail from a road walk through the Valley to a true trail, and maintaining and improving this new footpath.  By the late 1990s, our Club was interested in also conducting educational and social events.  It was decided to change the name to reflect these expanding activities.  In 2000, the Club officially changed its name to Cumberland Valley Appalachian Trail Club.  A vote of the membership to approve the change passed unanimously.
